What world citizen cannot be touched by the desperation of remoteness in response to such outrage? It is a time for all, in any ableness of spirit or labor, to come to the aid of a wounded and suffering humanity. While most of us can't intervene directly in diplomacy, such as it is, between warring factions, we are given the grace to learn to live justly; to eliminate superiority, selfishness, slander and everything else that replaces joy, in our own families and neighborhoods. Repairing this world starts with each and every you and me. When it filters up to the top, war will be only a legacy. This is a special album seeded on the Russo-Ukraine war. It is a timeless message. As with every of my albums, all the art and text are my own original handwork. Most of the models are fictional. I developed many of these portraits into literary characters with background stories. They were not modeled. I compose freehand from mind's eye although often studying models (while not copying them) for a general knowledge of ethnic complexion. My portraits are focused on two main themes -- soul and diversity. I try to depict not just a picture but a relatable soul, a primordial benevolence, often in a festival spectrum.
